Pulsuparty Registration

Pulsuparty Sept 13th, 2025

Our Icelandic Consul Inga Mæja hosts a hot dog party for Icelanders in Colorado every year. We would love to see as many of you for this wonderful annual event on September 13th! Inga Mæja will serve Icelandic hot dogs along with some drinks. If you are able to feel free to bring some side dishes, or desserts, it is not mandatory to bring anything, only if you want to and are able to. 

The party starts at 4 PM and will be hosted outside on the deck, so bring sunscreen (we are Icelandic after all).

Njála Tapestry Meetup Registration

Njálusaga - Njála Tapestry Project - Sept 21st, 2025

The longest tapestry in the world is coming to Colorado. At 91.5 meter long parts of the tapestry has been traveling the world. The goal of the project was to sow the Njálusaga and showcase the tale in a new manner. 

The Icelandic Association in Colorado has partnered with the show organizers and will be hosting a meet and greet on September 21st from 2 - 4 PM in Broomfield.

Save the date for these upcoming events. Once we have the event location secured, and the agenda down, we will send out an email to members, and open up for registrations. If you aren't a member yet, please consider joining us. It's free to join. If you have an event you would like to host, or propose, feel free to email us to members@icelandersincolorado.com  

Litlu Jólin (Little Christmas) - December

We hosted our first annual Litlu Jólin in 2024, and we intend to keep up the tradition this year. As soon as the time and location has been determined, we will send out an email to our members.

Please consider donating to the association. All funds will go towards events. To donate, scan the QR code, or search in your Venmo app for @Lauren-C-Daggett

To use the QR code, open up your camera, and point the camera at the code. A little link will pop up on your screen, click it and it will go to your venmo app. If you don't have Venmo, you can download it in your app store. 

We ask for donations to cover the cost of the events. Any money left over will be put into the next event, ending with our grand slam of the year, Littlu Jólin. If you are unable to donate, please still join us, participation is not dependent on if you are able to donate or not. We ask that you donate whatever amount you are able to whether it is $5 or $50. The board members of the association donate their time and resources and will never accept any compensation for this role. We are all in an agreement that it takes a village to keep up the Icelandic community here in Colorado.
