Icelandic Independence day is June 17th, but since it falls on a Tuesday, and is not recognized as a holiday in America (yet), we will celebrate it together on Sunday June 22nd.
Come join us for family fun where we will grill up some hot dogs, burgers and enjoy each other company. Prospect park is a family friendly location offering a playground, and a basketball court next to the covered Gazebo for those wanting to get some shade from the sun. Parking is right next to the park.
The cost to rent the park is $230, we are asking for donations to cover the cost* Scan the QR code for Venmo or search @Lauren-C-Daggett.
To use the QR code, open up your camera, and point the camera at the code. A little link will pop up on your screen, click it and it will go to your venmo app. If you don't have Venmo, you can download it in your app store.
This is a potluck event, if you are able, please sign up for bringing something for the event.
*If you are unable to donate, or bring something to the potluck, please still show up. We understand that we are all at different stages in life, and some are able to contribute more than others. We've all been there. We much rather see your pretty face than not!
